Detailed notes

This template is a wrapper around {{Cite Cyclopaedia 1728}}. In its default mode, it states that unspecified text in the body of a Wikipedia article is from an article in the first edition of the Cyclopædia, or an Universal Dictionary of Arts and Sciences.

This template calls {{Cite Cyclopaedia 1728}} that automatically sets some of the parameters passed, for example "publisher = James and John Knapton, et al". Over and above the standard parameter passed into {{cite encyclopedia}} there are some additional parameters and those are listed below in a separate table from the table of parameters passed into {{cite encyclopedia}}.

Minimum is:{{Cyclopaedia 1728|title=Cyclopaedia article name}}.

Full set is:{{Cyclopaedia 1728 |inline=| noicon= |no-prescript= |author= |last= |first= |authorlink= |coauthors= |title= |url= |accessdate= |volume= |page= |pages=}}
