This template creates a reference to the On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (OEIS). Parameter |1= is the identifying A-number, |2= (optional) is the name of the sequence:

By default, this template generates a ref anchor which can be addressed using {{sfn|Sloane "sequence number"}} etc.

Before April 2018, this template was named {{SloanesRef}}.

Usage

The template requires the sequence number and optionally a name.

When in doubt, or the template does not show as expected: add |1, 2= (required when the input contains an "=" sign):

Other parameters

• |formalname= -- |name= might be shortened for convenience. |formalname= can then hold the longer, formal OEIS name for future use.
• |accessdate=

To overwrite "Sloane, N.J.A. (ed.).":

• |editor-link=
• |editor-first=
• |editor-last= (this also changes the default ref anchor accordingly: {{sfn|editor-last "sequence number"}})
• |ref= specifies an explicit ref anchor. Do not use cite web's default value of harv.
• |mode= specifies the generated citation format. Default is cs1, specify cs2 for citation-style.

The OEIS site can have several subpages with a sequence page. These can be linked using |subpage=. Options:
