This template returns its first argument, after adding a full stop (or its second argument) if the sentence was not finished.

Usage

• {{Terminate sentence|The rain in Spain}} → The rain in Spain.
• {{Terminate sentence|falls mainly on the plain.}} → falls mainly on the plain.
• {{Terminate sentence|BANG|!}} → BANG!
