Template:Update after

This template is used for marking places in Wikipedia entries which need to be reviewed later. For a list of all entries which need review, see [What links here].
To use, simply put {{As of nnnn}} after the item which should be reviewed, much as you would a footnote. The template should follow any footnote marks or similar stuff. Nnnn should be replaced by the year in which the item needs to be reviewed.
To create a template for another year, simply copy this template as-is.
This template is intended as a replacement for the As of technique, which violates Wikipedia convention by linking text to administrative material.
For discussion:
- This template probably needs to be renamed to "Review in" or something similar which sounds more natural.
- Might be a good idea to have the template insert a marker in the text, so that editors will know that it's already marked, and will know where to look to find the are which needs review. Might want to make marker visible only to editors (people signed in), if possible.
- Once tested and seems to do what is intended, need to see about updating the As of pages to announce this, and deprecate the use of As of.
