Description
English: Vector version of Browser Wars.png.

A modified version of the Usage share of web browsers image. The differences:

  • the period shown is only from 1996 to 2009
  • only Netscape Classic, Firefox (and related) and IE for Windows are explicitly shown; all others are lumped together as "Others" (including Mosaic, Safari and Opera)
  • IE is put at the bottom with NN/FF curving around it; this is done for visual effect to show the rise and (current) fall of IE. To pre-empt any POV concerns, please note that IE is currently dropping by up to 1% per month with basically all of that going to FF. If that were to change (in the years ahead), the graph would reflect that.
  • colours changed.

Les différences :

  • La période présentée n'est que de 1996 à 2009
  • Seuls Netscape Classique, Firefox (et apparentés) et Internet Explorer pour Windows sont explicitement détaillés, tous les autres sont regroupés ensemble sous « Others » (incluant Mosaic, Safari et Opera)
  • IE est placé en bas avec NN/FF dessinant une courbe au-dessus de lui, ceci est un effet visuel pour montrer l'accroissement puis le déclin (actuel) d'IE. Pour éviter tous soucis de point de vue, merci de noter qu'IE chute actuellement jusqu'à 1 % par mois, qui passent essentiellement à FF. Si ceci est amené à changer (dans les années à venir), le diagramme devrait le refléter.
  • Changement des couleurs.
