Summary

Description
English: This is a sequence logo of the LexA-binding motif of Gram-positive bacteria. The logo was created from a list of experimentally-reported LexA-binding sites using the Weblogo server (http://weblogo.berkeley.edu/). At each position, the height of the stack represents the information content (see Information theory) of the position, while the height of each letter is proportional to its frequency at that position in the collection of sites

This biology image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “LexA gram positive bacteria sequence logo.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
