English: Antenna invented by early radio researchers Oliver Lodge and Alexander Muirhead used in their wireless telegraphy system. The two sections are attached to the two output terminals of the transmitter, the top section is the antenna while the bottom serves as a counterpoise. It is the first use of a counterpoise, which Muirhead patented in 1907.
