Neuron and myelinated axon, with signal flow from inputs at dendrites to outputs at axon terminals. (the arrow head under the legend "Axon terminal" is rotated in the display of this svg file, but works fine when loaded this svg file into inkscape. see also the png format, obtained from this svg format, and in which the arrow head is not rotated.) Attribution: this work is derived from Neuron.svg by Quasar Jarosz at English Wikipedia.
