Summary

Description
English: Cable trays are used in commercial, residential and industrial applications to hold up electrical cables. They tend to range in size from 15cm wide to 91cm wide x 15cm tall and are available in aluminium, galvanised steel, thermoplatic (in Europe) and fibreglass re-inforced plastic. Easy access to the cables for making changes is a key benefit to using this method to carry cables. Also, for buildings situated in moist (or monsoon) areas, having the cables up this high (rather than needing to lay them into the flooring) is also beneficial.
