English: Outlines of seven common standard screw threads. They are:
(a) V-thread
(b) American National thread - Similar to today's Unified thread
(c) Whitworth or British Standard thread
(d) Square thread
(e) Acme thread
(f) Buttress thread
(g) Knuckle thread
Alterations to images: cut and pasted the seven original source images in different order into one image.
