Summary

Description
English: At stresses above the martensitic stress (A), austenite will transform to martensite and induce large macroscopic strains until no austenite remains (C). Upon unloading, martensite will revert back to austenite beneath the austenitic stress, at which point strain will be recovered until the material is fully austenitic and little to no deformation remains.
