Summary

Description
English: thermoluminescence of fluorite (chlorophane) specimens which emit light when heated on a hot plate. Too high a temperature can break the crystal. The phenomenon only lasts for a few minutes, then disappears. The light emitted at the beginning seems to be white, and tends to be a little blue at the end.
