Title
Final Assembly
Description

8. Prior to final assembly, cermet elements are cleaned in ultrasonic tanks and subjected to a special aging process. This process provides further assurance against extreme stresses in operational environments. All elements are then rechecked for conformance to specified total resistance. These thoroughly inspected and tested cermet elements are transferred to assembly areas. Here they are assembled into the many Helipot trimmer models by highly skilled workers. When you specify a Heritrim cermet trimming potentiometer, you can be sure you are getting the finest quality and the highest performance available, and at an economical price.

Published without a copyright notice in "The making of a cermet trimmer, 1966" in Beckman Instruments' newsletter Helinews, number 36, Spring 1966, pp. 4-5. Part of a two-page spread detailing the process of manufacturing cermet trimmers.
